Privacy Policy

What Touchline collects, why, and who can see it.

Effective August 2026

1. Who we are & what this covers

Touchline is operated by Marcos Matthews, a sole proprietor in Simi Valley, California. This policy covers the Touchline app and website and the personal information handled when your family trains with us. The short version: we collect only what running training sessions requires, we share it only with the processors that make the app work, we show no ads, and we never sell personal information.

2. Information we collect

From parents and guardians: your name, email address, and phone number. About each player, provided by you: name, date of birth, optional training notes (for example, position or focus areas, plus any medical notes you choose to share), and an emergency contact name and phone number. From your use of the service: session requests and history, training-balance activity, waiver signature records (signer name, date, and waiver version), and your photo-consent choice. Basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) are generated when you use the app. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch Touchline's systems.

3. How we use information

We use this information to schedule, confirm, and run training sessions; to send booking confirmations and session reminders by email; to maintain your training-balance ledger and process refunds; to reach the emergency contact if something happens on the field; to keep the required waiver on file; and to respond when you contact us. That is the whole list. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not send promotional email you did not ask for.

4. Payments

Payments and refunds are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card number is entered on and stored by Stripe — Touchline never sees or stores full card numbers. We keep only the transaction records needed to maintain your balance and for bookkeeping (amount, date, and last-four digits as reported by Stripe). Stripe's handling of your data is described in its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

5. Service providers

Three companies process data on Touchline's behalf: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email delivery — confirmations, reminders, and receipts), and Supabase (the database and hosting where account, player, session, and balance records live). Each processes personal information only to provide its service to Touchline and is bound by its own data-processing terms. No other company receives your family's information, and no data is shared with advertisers or data brokers — ever.

6. Children's privacy

Players are minors aged 10 and up, and Touchline is built so that all of their information comes from you, the parent or legal guardian. Players do not create accounts, do not log in, and are never asked to submit information about themselves through the app — the service is directed to parents. Touchline does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from any child under 13; if we ever learn that has happened, we will delete it promptly, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). You can review, correct, or delete your player's information at any time through the app or by emailing us.

7. Photos & media

Consent to use a player's training photos or short clips on Touchline's site and social pages is collected separately during onboarding, is entirely optional, and never affects a player's sessions. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing marcosmvm1515@gmail.com; we will stop new use immediately and remove existing posts within a reasonable time. Without your consent, your player is not photographed for Touchline's public channels.

8. Sharing

Everyone with access to your family account — co-parents, grandparents, caregivers you invite — sees the same schedule, players, and balance, so share access only with people you trust. Beyond your own account, information goes only to the service providers in section 5, or when the law genuinely requires disclosure (for example, a valid legal request). If Touchline is ever sold or reorganized, family data would transfer only under commitments at least as protective as this policy, and you would be notified first. Touchline does not sell personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising.

9. Retention

Account, player, and session records are kept while your account is active. Signed waivers and payment records are kept longer even after account closure — waivers for the period during which injury claims involving a minor could be brought under California law, and payment records as required for tax and bookkeeping — after which they are deleted. Everything else is deleted when your account closes or upon your deletion request, whichever comes first.

10. Your rights & choices

You can access and correct your family's information directly in the app at any time. You can also email us to request a copy of the data we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted — we honor these requests for every family, whether or not a particular California privacy statute technically applies to a business of Touchline's size, and we respond within 30 days. Deletion is subject only to the retention requirements in section 9 (signed waivers and payment records). Transactional emails — confirmations and reminders — are part of the service; there is no marketing email to opt out of.

11. Changes & contact

Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Privacy questions, access requests, and deletion requests: marcosmvm1515@gmail.com, or write to Touchline, attn: Marcos Matthews, Simi Valley, California.
